Mandate

CORCAN’s mandate is to aid in the safe reintegration of offenders into Canadian society by providing employment and employability skills training to offenders incarcerated in federal penitentiaries and, for brief periods of time, after they are released into the community, which in turn supports the Correctional Service of Canada’s mission.
