Traditional Homes and Buildings

CORCAN traditional homes and buildings are constructed on-site, at their intended/use location. This is in contrast to our modular homes and buildings that are fabricated off-site and then transported to their intended use location. Our traditional homes and buildings are typically built with lumber, concrete or steel frame on a poured concrete foundation. There are many advantages to using a more traditional build method, most notably the increase in design options. As modular homes and buildings must be transported to their intended use location, they are designed in modules that can fit on a transport vehicle. Although this does allow for a high degree of customization, traditional buildings will continue to enjoy more design freedom than those built modularly. Our traditional homes and buildings services are limited by the geographic location of your intended use site. As such, factors such as remoteness and proximity to travel routes may dictate whether to use traditional or modular building services.

CORCAN has many years of experience building traditional homes and buildings.
